Golden Corral

Why did Mrs. Nuke 'Em and I go to Golden Corral last night? Well, when I was in high school and college I used to work there, and I became addicted to their rolls. Who doesn't love the ability to slide your plate to a guy at a grill and have him carve off a sizzling slab of meat?

The Button From My Shorts Came Off!

This is the button from my shorts. It came off and fell in the toilet. I'm a nerd and a loser.

My George W. Bush dream...

I had this stupid dream about President George W. Bush. In it, he was a guest at my mother's Sunday dinner. Before the meal began, he summoned me and gestured to a business card of one of the FCC officers (I actually have a card from the last time the FCC guys were in town) and said, "I need your help with some compliance issues."
"Yes, sir," I replied.
He then picked up the butter dish. It was a bit crusty with old butter smears and crumbs ... you know the butter dish can get. "I like fresh butter with my crackers," he said, scooping the old butter away with his hand, getting a little of it smeared on his suit.
I felt bad, because I didn't want to embarrass him by telling him that he had butter on his jacket.

And that's my stupid dream involving George W. Bush.

I'm totally loving the fact that you can see the sun. Something about actual sunlight makes me happy.
