My Dental Agony

You know ... the title of today's post would make a good name for a band. Feel free to use it.

My tooth hurts. I have a root canal scheduled for Monday afternoon. The good news is that the dentist gave me permission to take photos and post them on this blog. If I can somehow manage to get my camera in, then I'll provide a full slide show of my tooth getting ripped to bits.

Hey Todd,

Since you needed a guest post, why not pimp you out, and myself as well.

I work at X96 as a Board Operator (which is to say, I press lots of cool butons), but I also write freelance for City Weekly and Melting Music. Well, one day, Todd and I were discussing about "Rated F", and he mentioned he hadn't been reviewed by City Weekly.

I thought to myself "An opportunity to get to interview a writer (and have him in my debt so I can get cool CDs in the future), I'd be nuts to ignore this!"

So, after asking if he'd like to be interviewed for City Weekly, he agreed. Actually, he said he'll do publicity in the nude (I have a signed copy of "Rated F" that says that). After swabbing my eyes with tequila, we got the interview done, and it's gonna come to City Weekly on June 23rd. It's a fascinating expose on the though process of one DJ, Novelist, and All-Around Smart-Ass. Check it out if you can.

Oh, and if you think the article sucks, send hate mail my way. I won't respond, but I could use a laugh or two.

My Underwear

Wanna see my underwear? Sure you do! This photo was taken at the City Library on Friday night during their Battle of the Bands competition hosted by our very own Doug Wylde and Artie Fufkin. The girl I'm standing next to had pink Vans, and I had my pink Vans--and my checkered Vans boxers. It was a perfect photo opportunity.

Electric Fans

In school, I received the crappiest grades in shop class. I don't know much about "manly" things like fixing cars and household repairs. So my attempt to repair my ceiling fan at home resulted it no longer working. Tonight my father-in-law will have to come over and help his wuss of a son-in-law.

But hey, I write books. People like books, right?
