I'll call you out by name and invite you to the Morrisey CD listening party tonight at Airwaves at 7 pm. Free CD's before you can buy them and free pizza from Little Caesars and free drinks from Pepsi--it's all tonight.

Zack D. Shutt, Dewey1985, Clark, Bill, Darren Kopp, Austen, gpblank ... and anyone else, come on down tonight! Airwaves is at 515 South 700 East in Trolley Corners.

Starting tomorrow at 3 pm, we're kicking off another X96 Storage Shed Weekend. We'll periodically take a trip to the Storage Shed for some random old music that you used to hear on X96, but has been buried in our old junk. These weekends kick ass, especially if you like The Smiths and Geggy Tah.

This Did Not Happen

Last night I did not allow a friend to copy songs from my hard drive on my home computer. None of these songs that were not copied came from other friends' hard drives. Copying music is illegal, you know.

Back in the days before mp3's, I never made cassette mix tapes of my music for my friends.

It never happened.

Morrissey listening party!

This FRIDAY at 7 pm at Airwaves (515 South 700 East in Trolley Corners) X96 is hosting a listening party for Morrissey's new album Ringleader of the Tormentors. We'll have free Pepsi, Little Caesar's pizza, and CD copies of the new Morrissey album to give away--before it goes on sale on Tuesday.

Graywhale will also be here taking pre-orders. If you pre-order your CD, they'll give you a limited edition 7" single of "You Have Killed Me."
