On a serious note today, a child and his family need your help. This is not a hoax or anything like that, trust me. The Miera Family from Farmington, Utah, had a tragedy a week ago. I am a resident of Farmington, and the Miera Family is related to my sister in law, also a resident of Farmington. You may have seen it on the news, but here is a quick overview of the situation. Last Thursday afternoon, 2-year-old Jaxson Miera wandered from inside a home a few hundred feet to Farmington Creek. His mom discovered him missing, and began frantically shouting for help along the creek. People walking the trail in the area found him face down in the water and started CPR. He was airlifted to Primary Children’s Medical Center, and was listed in critical condition. He’s still in intensive care now. As you can imagine, the medical bills are massive and the family is asking for help from the community.
A fund has been set up at America First Credit Union for Jaxon's medical bills. Those who are interested in helping should stop by any AFCU branch and make a donation to the Jaxon Miera Fund.
Jaxon is the son of Brook and Joey Miera. Please keep this family in your hearts.
