BASH Tickets On Sale!

Tickets are officially on sale for the X96 Maverik Big Ass Show at Smith's Tix, Graywhale, and the X96 studio at 515 South 700 East.

Here are some photos from the $9.60 ticket sale / slumber party at Graywhale at 90th South and Redwood Road this morning.

These people slept out for tickets.

...so I got cozy with them. I'm second from the right.

Dylan, the short one, was first in line this year.

More X96 listeners cashing in on the Freeloader $9.60 tickets.

The line went behind Graywhale and down the block!

This dude named Taco was so excited he ran up and hugged me.

Yesterday

I didn't post a blog yesterday because I had to leave abruptly. Mrs. Nuke 'Em had a slip and fall accident in the shower and hit her head on the cultured marble wall. I took her to the clinic and then to another hospital for a CT Scan. Everything's OK, she was just groggy and full of aches. Scared the hell out of me, though.

The new rule in my house is wear a crash helmet at all times, including while showering.

$20 for BASH?

We really should have raised the ticket price this year. Production costs are up, bands are charging a little more--it's simple economics. But at the last minute, we decided to hold ticket prices at $20 plus service fees. I know the costs involved in the show--it's quite an expensive party to throw--and I'm a little worried. So take advantage of this super cheap ticket for the final year. It will undoubtedly go up a couple of bucks next year. Hell, even $22 is a steal.

Hmmm ... What's This?

Why is there a brand new Toyota FJ Cruiser sitting in the X96 parking lot? What ever would we be planning to do with such a sweet vehicle?
