My Chemical Romance Last Night

This is the group of winners from my birthday suite. We had two other birthdays on March 6th in our group. Weird!

Look, it's a dorky DJ hanging out with My Chemical Romance. They were amazing in concert last night.

I also bumped into Rancid's bad-ass drummer Branden Steinekert. He came to the show to check out his buddies in My Chemical Romance.

37 Years Ago Today...

Yes, it's the anniversary we celebrate every year in my family on March 6th. It comes with a mix of laughter and embarrassment, yet we look forward to it. Some say it's the signal that spring is soon to come, others say it was a clumsy, senseless act that leads us to commemorate the 6th of March.





I'm speaking, of course, of the anniversary of my lovely Aunt Johanna stumbling and falling in the old ZCMI in Ogden. This is the building that pre-dates the Ogden City Mall. She was there with her husband Sherm and she somehow tripped and fell flat on her face. She recalls the date with laughter and the day is fixed in her memory because it is also the day I was born.





Johanna is like my second mom. She's the best. Just don't take her shopping today.

Thanks to my dear friends and X96 listeners Sterling and his lovely girlfriend Alexis for bringing me a delicious mini-Bunt cake and some HO scale cows for my model railroad. That's a photo of Sterling and me with my cattle.
