I'm Posting A Blog Entry Today

This is my blog post for today. Here is where I vent about some random crap I observed from last night. Maybe I saw something funny at RC Willey last night. If I did, I'd write about it right here.

Blogs are fun because I sometimes post a photo. But not today. Maybe I'll post a photo on Monday; perhaps it will be a picture of my new toilet.

Normally, this part of the blog would be funny. It isn't today. Gosh, you're disappointed. I should probably apologize for such a lame post. But I won't. I don't know why.

Christmas Is Over, Damn It!

Do you still have your Christmas lights up? Is your tree still visible in your front window? Do you still have a ridiculous inflatable Santa on your lawn?

Please, for hell's sake, TAKE IT DOWN!

Christmas is over.

Last night driving through Centerville and Farmington, I saw countless Christmas trees and holiday lights. Please turn them off. You're bothering the rest of us.

Happy New Year. Whatever. It's just a calendar.

Yesterday I took a drive to Heber because we were bored. Nothing beats breakfast at The Hub Cafe in Heber. I love a place that serves gigantic pancakes and the waitress calls you, "Honey."

Afterwards, Mrs. Nuke 'Em and I went to see Brokeback Mountain at The Broadway. I thought it was a great production with excellent performances.

We like to pretend that Xmas is about giving ... but I want to know what you received. Here are a few of my xmas gifts that I received.

1. A popcorn popper that makes real theater-style popcorn.
2. Bricks on my soon-to-be-complete new home.
3. Cabinets in my soon-to-be-complete new home.
4. A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
5. Light fixtures in my soon-to-be-complete home.
6. A clock that plays snippets of Beatles songs on the top of the hour.
7. An outdoor fireplace pit so I can burn stuff in my back yard.
8. A video card for my home computer (because it went out.)
