Rated F at King's English

If you're interested in obtaining a copy of Rated F by Todd C. Noker (me) you can get a signed copy at King's English in Salt Lake at 1510 South 1500 East. These guys are cool for supporting local authors, so help them get rid of the copies they have in stock. It would suck if my crappy book sits on their shelves ... unsold.

todd's iPod for 7/7
10:20 a.m. "Man in the Box" Alice in Chains (prepositions are cool)
1:20 p.m. "Possum Kingdom" Toadies

pyromania

It used to be that on the 4th of July finding a fireworks display worth viewing meant heading to the city park or some stadium somewhere. But you should just come to my neighborhood. My neighbors are all a bunch of firebugs, seriously. Mrs. Nuke 'Em and I just sat on our driveway and watched as multiple households launched every variety of sky rocket known to mankind. These aren't just bottle rockets; these are the real deal. Aerial explosions of every color flickered the immediate horizon. It wasn't exactly Stadium of Fire, but damn near.

I don't know what is up with the demographics of my subdivision, but there is an unusual amount of firework junkies. I think it's cool, just a little bit strange.

So next year, come on out to my place and freeload on the neighbors' trips to Evanston.

Oh wait. I'm moving. I hope my new neighbors are into blowing stuff up.

todd's iPod for tuesday 7/5

10:20 a.m. "Right Where It Belongs" Nine Inch Nails
1:20 p.m. "Bug Eyes" Dredg (Corey O. played this on X96 Xposed on Friday night and I called in and voted. It did't win. But I'm playing it anyway because I can.)
