We love 30 Seconds To Mars!
There really isn't a better example of a hard-working band who is grateful for everything that they earn. It is truly uncanny. These guys take a personal stake in their relationship with their fans and those who have supported them. X96 was one of the first stations in the country to really "break" 30 Seconds To Mars. They have never forgotten. Since X96 really focuses on playing what you want us to play, their gratitude extends to you. Jared Leto has sent several emails to me over the past couple of years to thank us for our support. Last night at their show, he thanked me onstage when they played "The Kill." Buy their CD if you haven't. They love their fans.

10:20 am "Baby Pain" Intaferon (I'm such a new-waver at heart.)
1:20 pm "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" The Smiths (For my old friend Don Q. Mitchell who has spent the last few days fighting for his life after a terrible automobile accident. I love you, buddy! Obviously the hopeful tone of the song's title is the message I'm sending out. He and I are huge Smith's fans and trying to find a "get well soon" Smith's song is ... well ... impossible.)
