I just talked to Fletch from Depeche Mode!

One of the cool things I "have" to do as part of my job description is interview some of my favorite bands. I just taped a telephone interview with Andy Fletcher from Depeche Mode this morning.

Let me just say that I'm lucky as hell to have a cool job like this, and I never take it for granted--even for a minute.

I'll put together an hour long Depeche Mode Special 90's (and 80's) at Noon so you can hear the interview. Stay tuned for details.

Have Another Photo...

I found this photo of the Big Ass Show (remember that?) on my desk top and decided to post it. It fills a lot of space, and then I don't have to type as many words. Thursdays are lazy.

More Football Pictures

At the coin toss. Note that I'm smaller than all the players.

This is last week at West High. I'm the short guy in the white hat chatting with my buddy Mike before the game.

Last Night's Depeche Mode Party

We had some crazy times last night at the radio station with our Depeche Mode listening party/win-it-before-you-can-buy-it shindig. Don't you wish you were there?

Look at all these crazy Depeche Mode fans!

A lucky winner!

"Can I sell you some insurance?" Austin even dressed up for the occasion.

This dude even wanted a hug when he won. At X96, we love our listeners and we'll prove it.

Danny--one of my myspace friends--attended ... and won a CD!

Artie Fufkin's Abercrombie & Fitch pose for the camera. Sexy!

Ben--the coolest kid I know--wins a Depeche Mode CD. (Ben comments on the blog almost daily.)
