. . .
I'm stunned.
On my way home last night I stopped at the grocery store. When I got in the car at about 7:15, I heard Corey O'Brien giving the report about the shooting at Trolley Square. I saw the coverage on the news last night, but it didn't really hit until I drove past Trolley Square on my way to work this morning. (It's across the street from our studio.)
I feel sick. This is tragic on multiple levels. My heart goes out to the families affected by this unfortunate tragedy and to our friends and next-door neighbors at Trolley Square.

This is a senseless tragedy, the shooters intentions or reasons dont really matter. Last night he changed peoples lives forever. My heart goes out to the families who lost someone last night.
I work downtown.. I was leaving work around 6:45 or so and there were 3 or 4 cop cars with sirens blazing going towards trolly direction and I was wondering what was going on... only to find out when I get home what was happening.. scary stuff..
yeah. so, it's amazing to see things like katrina and be like "that's terribly unfortunate", but when you know people who are now dead, you realize how things like this are truly tradgedies.
