Happy Winter Solstice!

It's my favorite day of the year. I have the warm feeling of the season where friends and family come together in the name of love and holidays. I'm speaking of the Winter Solstice of course. Today is the shortest period of daylight all year. To combat the lack of sunshine, it is tradition to chop down an evergreen tree and bring it into the house. String lights onto the tree to cover the extended periods of darkness. Drink eggnog. Be merry.

Remember to donate at the Road Home today and tomorrow. If you didn't spend the night on the street last night, then you have it much better than the HUNDREDS of children in our area who didn't have a bed to sleep in.

The number to use your credit card for donations is (801) 521 5868.
