A History Of Violence

I saw a cool movie over the weekend. My movie geek friend Corey O'Brien recommended A History Of Violence and he was correct. I loved it. This movie is a little bit off the typical Hollywood path, and that's a good thing. The script was executed on a rather low-key, honest tempo. If the wrong director got his hands on this movie, it could have ended up over the top and ridiculous. Despite some odd plot events, the movie is told in an honest tempo with excellent performances by the entire cast. Be warned: it is violent and contains some naughty sex scenes and is rated R.

Clark, you're beyond warped. But, like my book, the movie poster has a gun on it. Shouldn't we ban it?
