THATS ODD THAT 311 IS UPSET. WE ARE IN UTAH, ONE OF THERE BIGGEST, BEST CROWEDS THAT A TON OF THERE RECORD SALES COME FROM. IF ANYTHING THEY SHOULD BE STOKED THAT WE WILL BE SPREADING THE 311 GOSPEL BEFORE ANYONE ELSE.

naw i hate all the flash back to the 70's stuff he plays. i love x96 always have always will, but i do miss hearing more then the same 10 songs played. todd's ipod and 90's at noon are the break of the day. other than that lets here more green day selling out, the used yelling about how much they hate there dads, and throwing up, the offspring....i'm going to shoot myself if i hear them one more time, thank god warp tour is over so x96 dosent push them so hard over the air, and whatever the trendist song is of the day...
so... corey's SONG choice sucks in your opinion, not corey himself?

Yea it was me launchin artilery shells, and some people in the circle in front of me. The people in the middle culdesac had it going on, they had to have had about $400 in fireworks i swear!

Trust me when Todd sees what I play at night he has a daily heart attack. I am definiatly into mixing it up. I have always had a love for 60's throw back tunes. Music reached a pinnacle in 1969 when that fateful day at Altamont Speedway the Hell's Angels got of of hand and a hippie was killed. Free love died that day. Can you honestly tell me that Trapt is more exciting than an classic Modest Mouse track? I never know what people will like but I know when I hear something that gets me excited. Sometimes it is punk, sometimes straight up rock, and sometimes it is lo-fi. If you complain that you hear The Offspring too much and then I play Morningwood (who sound like no one else at the moment) and you still complain what is left? Now where did I put that new P.O.D. song?
corey whatever. you don't mix it up. you sleep with listeners and play the same lame ass music day in and day out. you kiss todd's ass, and thats the only reason you have the job you do. you drive a silver civic (the biggest poser car knowen to man) and hardley ever intraduse new bands. i dont hear you playing transplants who is one of the best newest bands out there. and why don't you play them? don't want to be unpoppler with the ladies? or the people who truly love music? and different kinds? afraid to really get out there and explore the big world of music? x96 just sounds the same. punk? corey just because you work at x96 does not mean your punk. or rock or anything. it means you know how to kiss ass and distroy a radio station. congrats.
modest mouse is the worst band i've ever heard. traped can die for all i care. p.o.d who the hell listens to them? so since you've got my taste nailed what else do you have to say?

quit talking smack on people when you dont even have the guts to post your name. Corey posts his name in reply to you, but you hide behind a general monicker of "anonymous" ... just another victim of society. If you're pissed about something, then put your name with it for heavens sakes.
If you don't like Corey... then just don't listen to his show. I listen to it, and like it, along with a ton of other people. I don't see how Corey has destroyed a radio station, but i do see how arrogant you carry yourself with your allmighty opinions.
Way to go.. you know what car Corey drives. You know what i drive? A piece of crap. Okay, now we're all on the same page knowing what each other drives around.

X96 is a local independent alternative station.
You also have the same rights.
If it really bothers you so terribly, quit whinning about it and pick a alternative station.
The mix is nice and shows why Corey and Todd (X96)are so popular with a wide range of individuals.
Mom scholte,Zack,clark,keegan everyone who's a regular blogger believes in this station,its music,and its staff. Pleasing everybody everytime is impossible if you dont like x96 find something better...On the whole this station blows anything you'll find away...
if i'm a kiss ass, so be it.
