X Sets Weekend

Does anybody mind if we do an X-Sets Weekend on X96? I always like listening to X96 X-Sets Weekends, so I thought why not?

Post your requests for bands you'd like to hear an X-set from on the comments section of this blog.

*An X-Set is two or three songs in a row from the same band.

The X-Sets Weekend kicks off this Friday at 3 p.m.

Todd's iPod songs for 6/15

10:20 a.m. "88 Lines about 44 Women" The Nails (Did you count all of them?)

1:20 p.m. "Dead Man's Party" Clear Static (From the album Dead Band's Party, A Tribute To Oingo Boingo.)

Why not X? How come on a station called X96 you rarely play X?They are considered one of the most influential bands to come out of the LA Punk scene. Play some songs off of the Los Angeles album. Show some of these so called "punk" bands what music is supposed to sound like. Great muscianship and talented song writers are hard to find these days.

X-sets are cool. Just please don't play them from:

Offspring- They suck @ss
Blink 18crap
Ska bands

Oh and instead of pointing out your the "program director" all the time, why not spend that time on getting "Radio From Hells crap up. Everytime I am to your website new stuff is up on yours and the RFH stuff is still "coming soon". RFH is the ONLY reason I listen to X96
