Todd Got High

It happened at the dentist's office. I had some work done a couple of day's ago and I requested the gas. My dentist has televisions mounted on the ceiling so you can watch Dr. Phil while they drill holes in your mouth. Fortunately, the 4:00 edition of 2 News was on during my procedure. The gas filled my head with what I thought were profound thoughts. During the weather forecast in particular, I was struck with the nitrous-induced proclamation, "I am Sterling Poulson's storm clouds." I wanted to happily announce that revelation, but the hands and gear in my mouth at the time prevented any such utterance.

However, when my mouth finally was unobstructed, I did tell my dentist and his assistants about my being Sterling Poulson's storm clouds.

Never request laughing gas while fighting a cold. You'll get a bad trip.

(By the way, I've never done drugs. For me, the dentist's office is as good as it gets.)

todd's iPod songs for Friday 6/24

10:20 "Jetstream" New Order (From their new album Waiting For The Sirens' Call.)

last july 24th i drank a fifth of southern comfort (100 proof) and ate a hand full of mushrooms. Later that night i thought i was a can of spam and was scared to death of being eaten by stoned hippies. When i came to i was in the home and garden center at walmart trying to hotwire a lawn tracter...I still get stopped at the door...damn.
