How Long Will My Cap'n Crunch Last?
Working the mid-day shift is difficult when you consider that it covers up your lunch time. Unlike Artie Fufkin, I follow the company rule of not eating a meal in the studio. Sometimes this leaves me starving at noon, usually when I'm telling you about the sponsor for Nuke 'Em's 90's at Noon--Ab's Drive-In.
Today, it was bad breakfast planning. I only had a bowl of peanut butter Cap'n Crunch. This will not sustain me until I get off the air at 2 p.m. The thing with cereal is when it goes, it goes all at once. One second you're fine; the next, you're completely famished. It's 11:13 a.m. as I type this. When will I suddenly be shaking from hunger? Make your guess in the comments section.

I'm guessing the blood sugar will dip into the no-zone at 1pm...your stomach knows its only 1hr away from go time...lets rumble.

Todd I love it when you dj, but what were you thinking, you will die of starvation for sure. I had the same experience yesterday with lucky Charms. By 11:45 I was delirious. I waitress so i could eat till 4:45. I kept dropping things delaying food orders, my mind was a mess. In conclusion, may God be with you.
Okay, if i guess correct can i get a carton of Marlboros and a 24-pack of Bud?

Now the good side of this is that Krispy Kreme just brought over a box of donuts. Mmmm ... donuts.
Lunch will wait until after 3 today when Corey O'Brien gets back from Raging Waters.
